A Message From The President
The Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2018. Thank you to all the past Presidents, Board of Directors, and members who have made the past 25 years possible and brought us to this amazing milestone of service to our community!
Created to help foster a “culture of philanthropy” through planned gifts, the Council brings together estate planning professionals, financial advisors, nonprofit development officers, trust officers and consultants to share expertise in charitable and planned giving, along with estate and financial planning. Its mission is to foster awareness of gift planning and to provide an effective forum for education, communication, networking and collaboration in the community.
I am honored to serve as President of the 2018-2019 Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida, and my aspirations are for increased visibility and additional outreach in offering our Planned Giving Council resources to the community. To help support these efforts, we are pleased to implement a communications and marketing committee this year to build awareness and support PGCNEFL’s outreach into the community. More to follow about our efforts later this summer as we collaborate with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida and The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida.
The Council meets monthly (except during summer) at San Jose Country Club. Each luncheon program features experts on educational topics of value to members and their guests. See our Programs Page for our next scheduled meeting and registration information.
Your Membership covers the cost of all luncheon meetings, provides full access to our network of experienced gift planning professionals, and a discounted rate offering first access to our annual Planned Giving Symposium held each year in February. Joining the Planned Giving Council at the Sponsorship level includes your free annual membership and attendance at the Symposium. The Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida is the professional association for people whose work includes developing, marketing and administering charitable planned gifts. Our members include estate planning and tax attorneys, accountants, bank trust officers, financial advisors, consultants, and representatives of nonprofit organizations and institutions.
