A Message From The President

The Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida is celebrating a 25th year Anniversary in 2018.  Thank you to everyone who have helped make our year a memorable one, so far.  Thanks also to our past Presidents, Board of Directors and members who have made the last 25 years possible with our mission of service to the Planned Giving Community in Northeast Florida.

The council brings together estate planning professionals, financial advisors, nonprofit development officers, trust officers and consultants to share best practices in the world of planned giving. Our mission is to foster awareness of planning in our community supplemented with education, communication, networking, and collaboration in the community.

I am honored to serve as President of the 2018-2019 Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida, aspiring to increase our mission of goodwill and education in the community where we live and serve.  To support these efforts, we have recently implemented a communications and marketing committee this year to build awareness and to support PGCNEFL’s outreach in the community. 

The council meets monthly with the exception of the summer months at San Jose Country Club.  Each luncheon program features experts on educational topics of value to members and their guests.  See our Programs Page for our scheduled meetings and registration information.

Your membership covers the cost of all luncheon meetings, provides full access to our network of experienced gift planning professionals, and a discounted rate to our annual Planned Giving Symposium held each year in February.  Joining the Planned Giving Council at the Sponsorship level includes a free annual membership and attendance at the Symposium. The Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida is the professional association for people whose work includes developing, marketing and administering charitable planned gifts. Our members include estate planning and tax attorneys, accountants, bank trust officers, financial advisors, consultants, and representatives of nonprofit organizations and institutions. There will be no monthly meetings in June, July and August. Our next meeting will be the September 13, 2018 program TBD.
